KSHMR Releases “Casual” feat. Nevve as ‘Dreamz’
To debut his newest side project, 'Dreamz', KSHMR releases his latest single "Casual" featuring Nevve

Shortly after publicly announcing it, KSHMR kicks off his side project as ‘Dreamz’ with the release of “Casual,” featuring Nevve.
Having found popularity through heavy hits like “Power“, “Casual” taps into KSHMR’s softer side. The song strays from his usual larger-than-life drops. “Casual” draws from a more pop-influenced sound and features a relaxing guitar strum while complementing Nevve’s wide vocal range. The song invites listeners to explore a fantasy-scape carried by the unique slides in the drop. Ultimately, his latest release embodies the image that KSHMR hopes to exhibit through the new moniker. While it explores a new side of KSHMR’s creativity, it retains parts of his original sound that made him a world-renowned DJ and producer in the first place.
The California-born artist stated, “I’m excited to start a new chapter with Dreamz, a project very different from KSHMR: it’s more lighthearted, but still me and music I love.”
‘Dreamz’ isn’t the only project that KSHMR has planned in store for the future. He and his record label, Dharma Worldwide, launched Dharma Studio earlier this year. The platform aims to provide resources and educational tools for producers of all levels to dive into electronic dance music. The platform aligns with his past initiatives of releasing samples for producers to use.
