KURA Releases Nostalgic Track, “Rave”
This party-ready single is out now on Protocol Recordings
“Rave” is the newest release from Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings, courtesy of talented Portuguese producer KURA. The new single comes as a welcomed throwback sound for many listeners. Accordingly, it draws upon the bouncy, big room house and electro sounds from the early 2010s.
KURA weaves in strong basslines with energetic melodies and catchy vocal riffs for an upbeat, party-ready sound. Moreover, “Rave” is the type of tune that will get you off the couch. In addition, this is KURA’s debut release on Protocol Recordings. He has previously remixed John Christian’s track “Next Level” in 2014.
His other collaborations with Hardwell, Laidback Luke, and Tony Junior have received millions of streams. Now, we see him stepping into more independent territory with this new release. KURA has also released on well-known labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Revealed, Musical Freedom, Smash The House, and Ultra Records, to name a few.
Nicky Romero founded Protocol Recordings in 2012. It is a label that consistently features his own music and that of both rising and established talent. Simply put, the label is one of the leading imprints for innovative house music. On the other hand, it has also expanded to multiple international showcases at music events such as Miami Music Week, Amsterdam Dance Event, and Balaton Sound. With the release of KURA’s “Rave,” Protocol isn’t close to slowing down yet, so expect more cutting-edge new music coming to your speakers very soon!
