Louis Futon Drops A Stranger Things Flip
Stranger Things took the world and put it in the upside down. The show seems to be popping up everywhere since the release of season two on Oct. 27th, music is not an exception. On its own, the first season soundtrack told the story of the Stranger Things gang. This season proved to be no different after the release of the season two soundtrack about a week ahead of the shows air date. The soundtrack received its own praise from fans and DJs in the EDM scene, like Louis Futon.

With the first 10 tracks as more of a brighter, curious take on the same synth patches from the the original. A fan of the show and the soundtrack, Louis Futon showed us his admiration for the stranger things in life. On his SoundCloud page dedicated to his flips, Louis Futon dropped his Stranger Things homage, but before this track, he showed his fans step by step how he put this flip upside down and he even dressed up as one of the fan-favorite characters Barbara. Rest in Peace Barb.
Louis Futon sampled a part of the season two soundtrack, chopped and screwed it up, and added some dark bass to stay true to the Stranger Things tone. He threw in some chords, added a modified rendition of the theme song melody. And slammed down a fresh trap breakdown that we’ve come to love from Louis. Finally, he brought it all together with a funky electric guitar jam. That gives us that 80s time period, Stranger Things vibe. It’s great to watch production in action because it always lets you see how organic the music is.
