Moon Boots has released his debut album, First Landing, via Anjunadeep. (“One of the hottest electronic labels in the world” – Hype Machine)The 10-track LP features a blend of styles and sounds, showing the extent that Moon Boots can go to with his music, not only in his live sets but also through his recorded projects as well. There are many external inspirations to Moon Boots music, and he easily fuses elements of jazz, funk and classical into a beautifully body of music. The album features many vocalists, including Fiora, Lulu James, Antony & Cleopatra and Janelle Kroll; as well as emerging stars King Kona, Nic Hanson and Black Gatsby.
The album reminds you of all the hottest tracks that you would hear at club like Output in NYC on the roof. The low tempo house beats flow through you and the vocals set the tracks off. You will find yourself dancing and singing along to the diverse vocals.
Moon Boots is just the fourth artist to have released a debut album on Anjunadeep, joining Dusky, Lane 8 and Cubicolor. First Landing is the the ninth artist album that Anjunadeep has released.

Born in Brooklyn, Pete Doughertys musical career started when he was a child. His early love of piano leads to a passion for keyboards and synthesizers. Listening to the work of Daft Punk, A Tribe Called Quest and Herbie Hancock Moon Boots followed his passion into college. Moon Boots spent years at Princeton where he achieved an Engineering degree which gave him the tools needed to enter the world of EDM.
The stars aligned when he had a chance encounter with Perseus, founder of an adventurous new label, French Express. A fellow enthusiast and fan of French House and R&B-infused dance music, Perseus became a friend and mentor. The label eventually split up but Pete has stayed true to his mission of making tracks that can’t be confined to one style. Moon Boots blends jazz, house, funk and soul into songs that last longer than their typical run time. Songs for everyone.
After moving back to Brooklyn, Moon Boots was introduced to the Anjunadeep crew. His relationship with the label and their artists have flourished, leading to his debut album First Landing out August 4th. It’s an album where house beats come together with magical vocals into tracks that can be heard in every club and festival around the world.
