Diving by Pauli Gabrieli is a bass-house track with a long organ section to slow down a room during a set. The song doesn’t feature prominent vocals, but that doesn’t take away from the club feeling the song brings. He utilizes drums very well in the background and builds his layers from the original drum and cymbal beat he developed. There are parts of the songs, where the layers are stripped down, and you can hear the individual instruments used to make the music. It makes the song seem smart, giving you a bit to think about before the song cuts off into the drum and cymbal again.
Gabrieli delivers a song that will keep people moving with Diving. He showed at “Air Festival” in his native Czech Republic that he plays a diverse range of music. It should be able to fit into his sets seamlessly as he continues to continues to tour and play festivals.
