Over the years, Canada has produced some of the best producers and DJs in the EDM industry. The likes of Excision, Deadmau5, and A-Trak have entertained millions of fans worldwide and won multiple awards. One man who is making a name for himself in Canada’s EDM scene is a DJ from Vancouver, Sleepy Tom.
Ever since he released his debut EP, The Currency, in 2013, Sleepy Tom has had success coming his way. He got a nomination at the 2016 Juno Awards for “Dance Recording of the Year“, as well as winning an award at the 2017 Much Music Video Awards for “Best Co-Production“. Sleepy Tom has also collaborated with other top DJs and producers including Martin Solveig, Zeds Dead, and Diplo.
Review of “All On You”
After the successful release of his latest EP, Amateurs, Sleepy Tom has released a new single titled, “All On You“. The new single starts off with rhythmic synth melodies, keyboard accompaniments, and rising vocals. Afterward, the song become accelerated with frequent drum-and-bass beats and disco-like sounds.
As the song approaches toward the climax, the rhythm slowed down as the song included jingles and passionate singing. However, the song returned to its upbeat tune that merged diverse instrumental sounds of drums, bass, keyboards, and synth leads. “All On You” is the perfect summer anthem for dancing the night away with their closest friends while at the same time, doing their best to have fun and not think about any negative.
