Snafu: A New Single Out Now

LA bass music producer and DJ Snafu announces the release of his latest single “Blast” featuring rapper and hip-hop artist Abrax Phaeton. Snafu brings the heat with “Blast” by combining elements of dubstep, trap, and hip-hop with Abrax’s lyrical flow. The result is a bone rattling, energetic and uplifting song that simply makes you want to get up and dance. Any fan of trap and bass music at large ought to keep a close eye on him in the years to follow. “Blast” featuring Abrax Phaeton is now available on all digital platforms and is also available with VIP Vocals.

Snafu may just be military jargon, but it is now also synonymous with the freshest new sound in trap music. The Los Angeles DJ and producer who releases music under this alias has never been one to put out one-dimensional bass music. Hints of dubstep, drum and bass, and even underground hip-hop can be heard in Snafu’s bone-rattling signature sound. He’s a force to be reckoned with behind the decks as well. A DJ’s DJ who prefers to play on three or four decks, his possesses technical skills and a set building aesthetic uncommon to most contemporary EDM artists.

Although Snafu speculates that his sound used to be “too dubstep for trap people and too trap for dubstep people,” it now appears to be helping him carve out his own unique lane as an artist. The hip-hop sensibility evident in each arrangement only humanizes his music further, promising a long, bright future for the DJ and producer. Snafu’s 2017 releases and performances will only serve as a jumping off point leading to bigger and better things.
