The Avener debuts rework of Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War”

Just four years back in 2014,  French Producer/DJ, Tristan Casara released a remake track of Phoebe Killdeer & the Short Straws very own, “Fade Out Lines“. The house-infused track gained recognition within a short amount of time. By now, boasting 18 million Spotify plays and many wins in the international charts.

Going by his stage name The Avener, he returns with a smashing rework of  Bob Dylan famous song, “Masters of War”. The original version of “Masters of War” was written by Dylan over the winter of 1962 and 63. The song debuted on his album The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan. His lyrics refer to a protest against the Cold War nuclear arms build-up of the early 1960s.

The Avener is thrilled and honored to produce his version of this great song. In addition, he adds elements of blues, jazz, folk, and funk, showcasing his subtle electronic production, not taking away any essence of Bob Dylan’s original.

About The Avener

The ghost producer of many club hits, Tristan became The Avener when he decided to re-embrace the pleasure of music for its own sake. Including his love of piano and melodies, his vibrant, eclectic, multilayered musical culture and deep house – an antidote to the mechanical chill that has crept into electro over the last few years.

The Avener’s style is known to have a So French Touch of Elegance. Critics acclaim his style as the missing link between harmonic emotion and the urge to dance worldwide. Furthermore, confirmation of this triumph looks certain with the release of his first album, The Wanderings of the Avener.
