The Prodigy Shares “Need Some1” (Friction Remix) in Anticipation of Upcoming Album

The Prodigy have shared a Friction remix to their popular song “Need Some1“. The heavyweight tones come from respected Drum & Bass DJ / producer Friction, who puts his stamp on The Prodigy’s already high-octane track. Stream/download the new remix on all platforms here or listen below!
In addition, the band has also confirmed their seventh studio album No Tourists for a November 2nd release date via their Take Me To The Hospital label. When asked to comment, Liam Howlett had this to say:
To us, the idea of ‘No Tourists’ is ultimately about escapism, and wanting to be derailed. Not to be a tourist, not to follow the set path. If you want something, you have to reach out a bit further, a bit deeper. That way lies more danger, and excitement. It doesn’t mean no tourists allowed – just, don’t be one!
In a career approaching 30 years, The Prodigy have continually redefined dance and electronic music. The band has clocked up a staggering six #1 albums, sold 30 million records, and played to millions around the world. They were nominated for two Grammy’s, five MTV awards, two Brits, and two Kerrang! awards.
Though much has changed in the musical and social landscape, what remains a constant is the band’s resolute focus to always do things their own unique way. This, perhaps, is the true meaning of No Tourists. The anger, urgency, and irrepressible spirit of The Prodigy will make its mark on society November 2nd.
