Themba Drops Herd Remix of ‘Midnight (The Hanging Tree)’

Esteemed South African house producer Themba has remixed Hosh and 1979‘s single ‘Midnight (The Hanging Tree)’, which features vocalist Jalja. Themba’s remix of the track is the latest addition to his “Herd Remix” series. This new Herd Remix sees Themba delivers a vibrant take on the colorful original from HOSH and 1979. This remix has plenty of percussive elements while retaining Jalja’s pitch-perfect vocals. To emphasize, the remix has influences from traditional South African music with rhythmic drumbeats accompanying energetic synths. The Herd Remix of ‘Midnight (The Hanging Tree)’ is perfect for any occasion, whether at a large-scale festival or during a private workout session.
