Dutch producer Boaz Van De Beatz released his latest single, “U Don’t Know”, a collaboration with 17-year-old producer Trobi. It’s a unique banger, featuring the rich vocals of ÂDÏKA and KaliBwoy.
The song starts off with bass and tune played on flute, that loops throughout the song. Instead of just underscoring, ÂDÏKA fills in the rest of the lines with her rich delivery of otherwise simple lyrics. KaliBwoy brings up the energy with his high-powered verse. Bringing together everything is that flute, with an added kick, and its snake charmer vibe.
Boaz Van De Beatz is becoming prolific, ever since winning the title of “Best Producer” at the Dutch State Awards three years in a row, from 2011 to 2013. He’s gained recognition from artists like Diplo, Skrillex, Afrojack, and more. With previous releases like “No Way Home” and “Guappa”, it’s clear to hear that he is continuing a big room style. Trobi may not be a big name right now, but this young musician is already being called a prodigy in contemporary dance music. With this big collaboration, 2017 is setting up to be a big year for Trobi. He had this to say about this single:
