Tunecore's Sam Taylor joins I AM POP
I AM POP Expands in the UK
Expanding into the UK, I AM POP hires Sam Taylor as its London-based Chief Commercial Officer. I AM POP is a Facebook Messenger music bot startup. POP mainly targets musicians, labels, and other music businesses. Noel Gallagher and Armin Van Buuren are already POP software users.
I AM POP, in short, allows its users to create auto responses to fan messages. Users are able to collect their own fan data and revenues at the same time.
“People are only just beginning to realize the creative possibilities of what can be done by delivering content through Facebook Messenger – engagement rates outstrip everything else, with open rates close to 100% and vastly improved click-through rates. For many of our clients, Messenger has become the number one driver of fans to their digital content.” – Tim Heineke
Tim Heineke and FUGA
Tim Heineke previously co-founded a company that raised seven figures in early 2017. The company, FUGA, is a company that allows users to manage, promote, and distribute their own music. It also allows users to directly collect their own revenues. FUGA is currently operating out of The Netherlands, Portugal, and the UK.
