Wongo‘s new tune “Paradise” will have you convinced that you’re chilling on a beach, taking in the sun.

Wongos “Paradise” is soft, yet seductive, drawing you in with dreamy instrumentals, and a bassline living just beneath the surface. This is complemented by San Mei‘s rich vocals. The track is pure escapism, transporting you to a beach in the middle of Summer, making you forget it’s even Fall. It lingers over words of a red-hot summer love, like the rays of the sun over skin.

This is the first time I have collaborated with a fellow Gold Coast local. When I first heard San Mei, I had a feeling we would be able to come up with something special,” says Wongo of the formation of “Paradise.” “It’s a track that portrays our sunny hometown whilst staying true to the vibes of my production style.” The track is out now on Sweat It Out, which has also released tracks by What So NotYolanda Be Cool (who also remixed “Paradise”), Monkey Safari, and more.

Wongo wasn’t always making house beats. Before he was captivating audiences through music, he was doing so as a talented breakdancer, winning multiple titles in the UK and Australian Championships. After leaving the dancefloor for the DJ decks, Wongo caught the industry’s attention through his remixes of tracks by Beyoncé and Azealia Banks. The producer has also remixed Spank RockWhat So NotA-TrakSweater Beats, and Sluggers. His original productions are just as attention-grabbing: his track “Be 2 Be” featuring LA vocalist Ducky was both a radio and club success, receiving support from Triple J and all major dance radio across Australia. “Be 2 Be” was also featured across a multitude of playlists resulting in over 800k collective online streams. And now, with Wongos latest track “Paradise”, it’s easy to see that he’s making his way up.
